3rd Day of Christmas: Wedding of the Month
Bridget and Steve had a wonderful and decidedly Christmas wedding celebration. Don't forget to check out more of the details in my previous post!

I love how these sepia pictures capture Bridget's soft curves against the rustic wood. It is amazing what an old barn can do!
The simple use of color creates a stunning look against the raw nature.Bridget's sister was her Maid of Honor and only bridesmaid for this small family affair.
Again, it is wonderful how much the red "pops."

I wish I could share with you the wonderful pictures of this family of 6 dancing at the reception. They truly made a stunning picture on the wedding day and they make an incredible family now!
2nd Day of Christmas
How to decorate your wedding with "Chirstmas" (and a sneak peek at a Real Wedding of the Month!)
Bridget and Steve held a December 22nd Wedding, so there was no way to avoid Christmas. They heartily embraced all the beauty of the season to create an elegant affair that was truly spectacular.
They held their reception at a historic town hall. Due to the season, the town hall boasted a huge tree in the middle of the entry way. Steve and Bridget cleverly used the tree to hold the guest's place cards, which we actually Christmas ornaments. Our place card from this weeding proudly hangs on our tree each year reminding us of this wonderful couple.
Cranberries, Roses, Sparklers, Greens and Ribbons tied together the look for this wedding. All of these items can be acquired at a low cost, but together make a tremendous impact! My favorite tip from this wedding came from the bride's roommate Caroline - she created the centerpieces with grocery store items: glass bowls, fresh cranberries, and simple flowers. Put together these centerpieces make a strong statement. The best part is they are both easy on the wallet and an easy DIY!

Calligraphy from Sara and Caleb's Wedding
Here are pictures of the hand calligraphy I did on the envelopes for Sara's wedding invitations. For privacy reasons these are a bit blurry with some "artistic" angles, but will give you an idea of what my most basic envelop calligraphy looks like.
In addition to the envelopes, I also created a map for guests. This map accompanied directions from the ceremony to the reception. Many of the wedding guests had not been to Cape Cod, so Sara and Caleb wanted to highlight the area and many favorite spots that were referenced throughout the day.

Mark and Rebecca celebrated their one year anniversary this month! Here are some photos from their wedding:
Their wedding had a wonderful relaxed Victorian flair, from the deep rich tones of the bridesmaid dresses and flowers (perfect for a fall wedding) to the intricate lace in the brides' dress and her loosely pulled back chignon adorned with flowers. Mark and Rebecca made a beautiful bride and groom and make an even more stunning married couple! Happy Anniversary Mark and Becs!
PS: This wedding was incredible and these photos do not fully do it justice. I may just have to re-feature this wedding if I get my hands on some more photos!!

September Wedding of the Month
Each month, I hope you bring you photos of a real wedding to provide inspiration. As part of this monthly feature, I will list locations and vendors to help you plan your weddings as well. I will also use this feature to highlight the wide spectrum of weddings which I have done calligraphy for. To start this off, I figured it would be fitting to share pictures of my own September wedding from two years ago.
My dad and I walked down the aisle in our true form, talking and waving to our guests the whole way down.
In this photo, I was resting my legs between photos. I am so glad my photographer caught this shot. It shows how honestly elated and content I am to be married.
The church where we got married, Great Valley Presbyterian, is the oldest Presbyterian church in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. The church is absolutely beautiful. We love the photos we have from in front of this big red door.
No wedding in my family would be complete without Greek dancing! Just after dinner we kicked off the evening with a Greek circle dance including almost all of the wedding guests. Here you see my mom, sister and dad in the middle of this photo. Mark and I were leading the dance, but because we are novice Greek dancers my Yia-yia's (grandmother) cousin had to take the lead and move us faster! We could hardley keep up!
This is a terrific action shot which caught a moment Mark and I missed. Here my sisters and brother are hoisting my cousin Ryan across the dance floor. I love how much fun they all had!
